Working with Me

A gentle, collaborative process

Hi I’m Sarah, a MindBody Practitioner offering somatic, integrative therapeutic work support for adults, children and teenagers. My work is grounded in Somatic Stress Releaseβ„’, Integrative Hypnotherapy and coaching, and is designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience and a deeper sense of safety and connection within yourself.

Many of the people I work with are living with chronic stress, burnout or ongoing nervous system overwhelm. Others come feeling disconnected from their bodies, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move through a period of change. In our work together, we listen not only to thoughts and stories, but to what the body is communicating beneath the surface.

My approach weaves together neuroscience, body-centred and relational therapeutic work. Sessions are gentle, collaborative and paced around your capacity. Rather than forcing change, we work with what’s already present supporting your nervous system to settle, reorganise and respond with greater flexibility over time.

What Sessions Are Like

I offer a calm, grounded space where you are met exactly as you are. Together, we may explore bodily sensations, emotional responses, patterns of stress or protection, and the ways your nervous system has learned to adapt. Hypnotherapy and guided somatic practices may be used where appropriate, always with choice and consent.

This work can help build a stronger sense of internal safety, improve emotional regulation and support more ease in daily life, especially when stress has become chronic or overwhelming.

Who I Work With

I support a wide range of experiences, including:

  • chronic stress, overwhelm and burnout

  • anxiety and nervous system dysregulation

  • emotional sensitivity and feeling easily overloaded

  • ADHD and neurodivergence

  • emotional regulation challenges in children and teenagers

  • low mood, confidence or self-esteem difficulties

  • life transitions, identity shifts and periods of uncertainty

  • feeling disconnected from the body, emotions or sense of self

Alongside my therapeutic training, I bring over ten years’ experience working in London schools as a teacher, middle leader and senior leader. This strongly informs my work with children and adolescents, as well as with adults navigating stress, burnout or neurodivergent experiences.

A Grounded and Supportive Process

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or for a child or young person, this work is about moving at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin - curiosity, openness and a willingness to listen to what your system needs is enough.

Outside of my work, I value slow, grounding ways of living β€” spending time in nature, gardening, gentle movement, reading, and tending to my own nervous system through simple, embodied practices. These values shape how I show up in my work: with care, presence and respect for the complexity of being human.

If this resonates, you’re warmly welcome to get in touch.
